INCANTATIO
An International Journal on Charms, Charmers and Charming
Incantatio is an open-access, peer-reviewed electronic and printed journal published by the International Society for Folk Narrative Research’s Committee on Charms, Charmers and Charming and endorsed by the Center of Excellence in Estonian Studies (CEES) and the ELM Scholarly Press. The INCANTATIO is dedicated to publishing research on verbal charms, as well as on the practitioners of charms and their practice.
The journal publishes peer-reviewed research articles and commentaries, book reviews, short reports and research notes, which are meant to track research projects and provide details on rationale, methodology, project results and outcomes. The journal has a special focus on supporting research in different areas of globe, also PhD students and early career researchers to disseminate their work alongside established scholars.
No charges are applied either for submissing, reviewing or processing articles for publication.
The journal is listed in MLA Directory of Periodicals (EBSCO), Central and Eastern European Online Library (C.E.E.O.L.), Open Folklore Project.
The journal is registered and waits the answer from: ERIH Plus, Scopus., the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
