Davor Nikolić is an assistant professor at the Department of Croatian Language and Literature, Chair of Croatian Oral Literature, at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. In 2006 he majored in Croatian language and literature and phonetics, and in 2013 defended his Ph.D. thesis on rhetorical folklore genres. His area of research interest include folkloristics, rhetoric, stylistics, theory of argumentation and digital humanities. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on oral literature and literary analysis, and post-graduate courses on rhetoric and scientific communication.
