Anna Solovyeva holds a degree in Philosophy and History and Theory of Culture from Moscow State University (MSU) and MA degree in Medieval Icelandic Studies from the University of Iceland (HÍ). In winter 2019/20, she has submit¬ted her PhD thesis at Aarhus University, Denmark. Anna’s research interests include memory studies, origin narratives, genealogies, and formation of identi¬ties, and her recent work focuses on representations of skaldic poetry and poets in Old Norse literary sources.
