Focus and Scope
The Incantatio. An International Journal on Charms, Charmers and Charming (Incantatio) is an open-access, peer-reviewed electronic and printed annual journal with an international editorial board. The Incantatio is dedicated to publishing research on verbal charms, as well as on the practitioners of charms and their practice and covers the full range of work being done on all aspects of charms and charmers phenomena. The journal welcomes academic research of all eras and from all areas, although one geographical axis of the Incantatio is the Europe.
The aim of journal is promoting diversity in the field of verbal magic and charmers research, to widen theoretical and critical approaches, alongside the encouragement of innovative work that contains a transdisciplinary focus, and providing a meaningful arena for discussion.
